During the winter, any snow falling, along with road salt, can cause serious cosmetic damage to your vehicle and cause it to age prematurely. Lots of rainfall means more moisture in the air, which attracts contaminants. This moisture also harms the exterior of your car through chemical reactions that lead to rust if you aren’t doing enough preventative maintenance. And ask anyone with a rusty vehicle—it doesn’t happen overnight, but once it starts it’s hard to stop!
